I have been preparing AutoCAD based technical lift plans since 1994. I have been largely self employed as a Heavy Lift Consultant since 1999. Since then I have provided lift plans and consulting services to the likes of BHP, Woodside, BP, FMG, Rio Tinto as well as many of Australia's leading resources, construction, engineering and crane hire companies. My name is Russell Parker. I am a Heavy Lift Consultant based in Perth, Western Australia. I have been involved in the crane industry since January 1977. In that time I have had experience in almost every facet of the industry. From sweeping the floors and keeping the lunch room urn filled, the fitting out, testing and distribution of BHB articulated cranes throughout Australia, then through operating and supervising cranes, on to project supervision, then senior management experience in one of Australia's leading heavy lift and shift companies, through to becoming a fully independent heavy lift consultant.
