Which version of AutoCAD do you need – full AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT?
The training videos were created using AutoCAD LT, and the course can be followed using either the LT version or the full version. For normal 2D lift planning, AutoCAD LT is generally all you need and is considerably cheaper than the full version. Full AutoCAD includes additional features, including 3D modelling and other specialised tools, but these are not required for this video training course.
To clarify further: AutoCAD (only) is the full version. AutoCAD LT is the "Lite" version.
This training package consists of 60 bite-sized videos (averaging around five minutes each) that take you step by step through the process of creating highly accurate AutoCAD crane and rigging drawings suitable for inclusion in detailed lift plans.
It starts with the absolute basics — using the mouse in AutoCAD, drawing lines, circles and other simple objects — and progresses through to creating complex, highly accurate crane and rigging drawings.
This is a one-off payment – there are NO subscription fees or hidden extra costs. Once downloaded, no internet connection is required, and you can learn anywhere, any time, at your own pace.
